How much does Lightwork cost?
You decide what you're willing to pay your helper. We add a small, flat service fee based on your offer.

How does Lightwork work?
Simple. Tell us what you need, when you need it, and what you can pay.
We'll look for someone who can help and get back to you on WhatsApp. If someone accepts, we'll confirm the details and payment with you before the work begins.
No accounts. No endless scrolling through profiles. Just people helping people.
What kind of tasks can I post?
Quite a few, actually.
Presentations, design, video editing, spreadsheets, coding support, tutoring, errands, research assistance, and plenty more.
Not sure your task fits? Send it anyway. We'll let you know if it's something we can help with.
Is there a minimum budget?
Yes. The minimum you can offer a helper is €10.
Do I pay before or after the task?
You pay after a helper accepts, but before they start working.
We'll confirm everything with you on WhatsApp first, including the task, deadline, and total price.
What if nobody accepts my task?
Then you pay nothing.
No match, no charge. Simple as that.
What if my helper doesn't show up?
If your helper fails to start the agreed task and we can't arrange an alternative you're happy with, you'll receive a full refund.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
Tell us.
We'll review what was agreed, what was delivered, and what went wrong. Depending on the situation, we'll work toward a correction, partial refund, or full refund.
We'd rather sort things out than leave you frustrated.
How do I confirm a task is complete?
We'll message you on WhatsApp when your helper says the task is finished.
You'll have 24 hours to confirm completion or tell us there's a problem.
If we don't hear back, we may close the task for payment processing, provided there's no known unresolved issue. This doesn't take away your legal rights if something is genuinely wrong.
Is Lightwork just for students?
Students are our starting point, but you don't have to be a student to ask for help or apply as a helper.
Can someone do my university assignment for me?
We can help you understand it, improve it, or learn how to do it.
Tutoring, proofreading, explanations, and legitimate academic support? Absolutely.
Having someone secretly complete assessed work for you to submit as your own? That's not something we facilitate.
How do I become a helper?
Fill out our short helper form and tell us what you're good at.
We'll reach out on WhatsApp when something suitable comes up. You decide whether to accept.
When do helpers get paid?
Once the task is confirmed complete and any issues are resolved, we aim to initiate payment within a few hours.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to deliver the funds.
Do I need to create an account?
Nope.
Submit your request, leave your WhatsApp number, and we'll take it from there.
